A blog, oh my!

Welcome! We're starting a blog! Hooray!

I have wanted to start a blog for a while, partially because I miss writing "for fun" and also just because it really is a way to keep connected these days... Especially when you're in Philadelphia and so many of your family and friends are halfway (or all the way) across the country. I'm hoping this will be a little insight to our lives -- things about our work, our play, and, of course, our really cute kittens. While there shall, I'm sure, be thoroughly reflective, contemplative, artistic, and/or provocative posts... this is not a forum for my(/our) most intellectual musings and box-shattering statements. It will simply be what it is... which may very well end up being our day-to-day happenings, along with some reviews for great board games. That is my disclaimer.
